I am a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the Biodiversity Research Institute (IMIB), a joint research centre of CSIC-University of Oviedo-Principality of Asturias (Spain). Beyond research, my passions are mountains, photography, running, and boardgames.
My research career has focused on the study of the effects of fire and forest management on ecosystems, with a special interest in soil degradation processes. Current research interests:
The FIREPROS are a multidisciplinary research team that explores diverse fundamental questions around wildfires and their socioecological impacts.
